Distribución en Colombia:
Esta especie introducida es conocida en varias localidades disyuntas en nuestro territorio que abarcan las tierras medias y bajas en los Departamentos de Atlántico (Ruiz et al. 1996;Bernal & Lynch, 2013;Leonhardt et al 2019;Ortega-Chinchilla et al. 2022), Antioquia (Leonhardt et al 2019;Ortega-Chinchilla et al. 2022) Bolívar (Kaiser et al. 2012:Leonhardt et al. 2019; Ortega-Chinchilla et al. 2022), Cundinamarca (Leonhardt et al. 2019;Ortega-Chinchilla et al. 2022), Magdalena (Leonhardt et al. 2019;Ortega-Chinchilla et al. 2022) Santander (Ortega et al. 2005; Guayara & Bernal, 2012;Leonhardt et al. 2019;Ortega-Chinchilla et al. 2022),Tolima (Bernal & Lynch, 2013;Leonhardt et al 2019;Ortega-Chinchilla et al. 2022) y Valle del Cauca (Kaiser et al. 2012;Leonhardt et al 2019;Ortega-Chinchilla et al. 2022) entre los 0-1729 m.snm.
