Distribución en Colombia
Bosques subandinos y andinos en la vertiente occidental del Macizo Central colombiano en el Departamento de Nariño (Lynch & Burrowes, 1990;Ruiz et al.1996;Lynch, 1998;Acosta, 2000; Bernal & Lynch, 2008) entre los 700-2020 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
