Bosques andinos de la vertiente oriental de la Cordillera Central con registro en los departamentos de Antioquia (Lynch & Rueda,1998;Acosta,2000;Páez et al. 2002;Bernal & Lynch, 2008;Stuart et al. 2008) y Caldas (Lynch & Rueda,1998;Acosta,2000;Bernal & Lynch, 2008;Stuart et al. 2008) entre los 1600-1950 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
