Bosques subandinos hasta páramos dela región central de la Cordillera Central en el Departamento de Antioquia (Lynch & Ardila, 1999;Acosta, 2000;Páez et al.2002;Bernal & Lynch, 2008; Pinto & Alzate, 2023), Caldas (Rojas-Morales & Marin-Martinez 2019) entre los 1800-3100 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
