Distribución en Colombia

Bosques andinos de la Vertiente occidental de la Cordillera Occidental en los Departamentos de Chocó (Lynch,1998;Lynch & Ardila, 1999;Acosta,2000;Bernal & Lynch, 2008) Risaralda (Lynch & Ardila, 1999; Acosta, 2000) y Valle del Cauca (Lynch,1998;Lynch & Ardila, 1999;Acosta,2000;Castro & Vargas, 2008;Bernal & Lynch, 2008)  entre los 2080-2250 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
